Ah... Thread is alive still !

Yes, strangely, SCH survives the psychotic market of late, and indeed manages to go up.

I believe something to do with rumors of big fish eating smaller fish. In SCH case, I hope they do not go nuts in a buying binge as the stock price could probably suffer (so many on line brokers not making money yet, out there).

I admit that the acquisitions of U S Trust and Cybercorp were brilliant.

I have casually gathered what is slowly becoming a respectable position in this Co. (due to splits). All of a sudden a rise in $1.00 impacts the account in a way not to snuff about. (although it is likewise in the down turn) --gulp--.

However, such position is beginning to raise my eyebrows every time the premiums from covered calls fill the coffers of my account rather neatly...

Is this what "the long term investment view" is all about ?

Meanwhile, the equity build up afford me the real thrills, as I continue to sell puts and calls on the schizophrenic tech monsters.... (now I got stuck with a few shares of SUNW for selling a naked put at the wrong time -g-)

hehehehehehe.
