Tim, During the time of "Great Borrowing" (the 1980's), the upper 10% collected the vast majority of the loot. We are now $5.7 trillion dollars in debt, and it is time for us rich people to pay it back. Passing this burden on to our children would be an abomination. How can we expect children to show self-restraint, if we have none ourselves? Scumbria
