The British government will not let Brussels bureaucrats dictate the parameters of British security.

All of the Euro laws have exemptions in them that allow Governments to suspend them for "emergencies." If the British courts give them trouble, they can easily change the law. This business of "we can't send to back to countries that torture" will be overlooked, that's for sure. A lot of these people are fleeing from criminal acts in their home countries.
