not to spoil the party by, you know, sticking my d*ck in the mashed potatoes ... but by my calculations, on a sequential quarter basis, gross margins are decreasing slightly. the trend over the past three quarters: 59.24% to 59.05% and now 58.80%. net profit margin also slid (if you back out the $2 mil in "other income"): 12.4% to 11.8% and now 11.0%. however, NTAP continues to impressively reverse that ol' trend of 'slowing' revenue growth (quarter-over-previous- year-quarter) and obviously blew away the consensus.
