SPX....Midst all the sturm und drang......STILL in long-term uptrend.. bullish position...no LT "bear market" evident .... Holding above UT line drawn from Apr '05 low..... Holding above UT line drawn from Oct low........... 200d MA still rising....... 50d MA remains above 200d....falling..reflecting ST down from the May high....but that does not negate LT uptrend.... Same general position other broad indexes......DWC, RAVX. NYA....... All of which weighs more importantly IMHO than weakness some narrow sector indexes (such as the long-smelly socks....which btw behaved pretty well Friday)....
