Lizzie, thanks, and I agree with the article that come Nov. the GOP will be "Palin' in comparison" to the Dems. And regarding hockey pucks, it takes one to pick one <vbg>. IMO, what McCain really showed us is his strong belief in the lack of intelligence of voters. He thinks we'll go for the fluff. He's wrong. The GOP will lose even more badly in Nov. than in 2006. And the polls won't show the real margin of victory in advance as they didn't in 2006. We are NOT going to take it anymore!!!! The erosion of civil liberties in the last 8 years is appalling. The thousands who died and Trillion dollars spent to date in Afghanistan and Iraq, all predicated on a bald-faced lie about WMDs, and all to a result that makes us 100-fold Less Safe than ever before, mortgaging my kids' future is beyond criminal. If they wanted to attack us before just imagine how badly they want to do it now and how many more will be willing to do so. I have voted for GOP candidates in the past but in the last 8 years they have shown themselves to be the most pitiful clowns. GW will go down as the worst in history, bar none. The Attorney Generals have been Stalinistic with total disregard for the Constitution and rule of law. In CA (and I am certain it is country wide), the government employs huge teams of regular people who work for military contractors and even college kids to form teams of surveillance goons who roam around in cars and literally spy on their neighbors. Billions spent on this!!! This is Soviet style behavior and most have no clue this is going on. The GOP machine needs to be completely dismantled.
