Joe: If you subscribe to "D A T E K" on line brokerage services, you are able to get up to the second quotes (no 15 minute delays, etc.) and you are therefore able to better formulate your offers to buy/sell securities. I have frequently opened two screens at DATEK, one when placing an Order and the other to keep up with the uptick/downtick status of the securities I am trying to buy/sell. By doing so, I am able in most cases, to place an immediate ORDER within the bid/ask range I desire, and often I am able to split the bid/ask difference and obtain confirmation of the transaction within a minute, not more than two minutes in 99% of my transactions. You must have a minimum balance of only $2,000.00 I believe, and you are able to make securities transactions on Margin (if desired) , buy-sell (long or short), instantly. Their charges are most reasonable, as cheap as any I have seen on the internet, only US$9.99 per transaction, up to 5000 shares at a time, regardless of costs of the shares. I have been on-line with them for about three weeks and I am shutting down all but one of my other services. They also do charts, and headline news services. They are at datek.com if you are interested. If you contact them, tell them Woodall sent you if you would. I want them to know that I am referring them business in case I need some special dispensation sometime.
