A question to all
Cray vs Deep Blue..

A question about the Cray machines...
I have reading alot about Deep Blue and it power.. How does it's computing power compare to what N.E.C. or Cray have???
The lab-coats are pinning their hopes on Deep Blue, IBM's whimsical name for what is actually a 1.4-ton RISC System/6000 Scaleable ystems SP computer with the girth of a small U-Haul.
The supercomputer incorporates 32 processors and is capable of calculating 200 million moves per second. Deep Blue is expected to severely test

Just curious...
