Kevin, the TRILLION dollars in Afghanistan and Iraq has ALREADY surpassed the inflation adjusted cost of $600-700 Billion for Vietnam. Although, the loss of life was much greater in Vietnam and the other human costs very hard to measure.

GW told everyone that Iraq would pay us back for the war with oil money, so let's see... if they start paying us back a Billion dollars a year, then in 1000 years we will have collected the principal back and in 100,000 years we will have collected the interest back. Does anyone have an understanding of the truly devastating damage this criminal use of tax dollars has done to our country? It is truly beyond measure.

But hey, the GOP is so "fiscally responsible" right?

Obviously, the lives lost are forever a travesty.

I encourage everyone to go to the Frontline website and purchase the DVD "Bush's War" It's nonpartisan but the facts will make you ill.
