I feel fortunate....have lived both in cities, and small farming areas growing up. Both offer different opportunities to enjoy the surroundings and the people.

Not sure as an adult that I could really live full time in a small community any more. I would miss the libraries, entertainment, nice restaurants, close shopping for nearly anything, etc. The best combo of course, would be to go between the two on a regular basis.

Just dawned on me why we've had so much fun over the years here in Seattle. We've done exactly that, by going on lots and lots of small trips around the NW and West Coast towns and cities, and always come home to our quiet little neighborhood in the middle of the big area....
