Zeev, I agree that time-wise to obtain a result, to see a conclusion, for which we put in time & money & resources, that yes, history has shown that those who refuse to move on to other areas have a very increased probability to never create a finished product.
Many times these folks who refused to give-up because it will signal failure, fail to realize that their fear of not living up to their own concept of themselves as having the ability to be successful causes them to mistaken a specific task as having a time continuation into the long future that will always diminish or prevent a self realization of their projected self.
Sad when it happens, its becomes almost like that saying.
"I have met my enemy, and it is myself."
Those with healthy powerful brains can do amazing things with their thoughts, including one to mimic a dementia state.
Some of the most relaxed and content folks i have met were those who could not "manipulate" in a defensive manner their own thoughts for what they saw as accomplishing goods results onto themselves. As would happen, these defensive self thoughts would go awry and in a means to correct themselves they would go into a mode of protection so as to regroup and heal and then continue. At this point it would not be acknowledged that a break-down occured, and like a car wreck of a total lost requiring it to be discarded and get insurance money and obtain another, the protection mode would change to an offensive one to battle back those suggestions that one should abandon and exit and go elsewhere, but no, this person will fight back and stay "stuck in the mud."
This might explain why Chuca is always content and whenever he gets stuck in the mud, he quickly will remove himself and move onward & upwards.
As for me into Haber-Science as an investment, well "time to give up" my number of habe shares that now exceed the number Richard has of mxam, I'll wait until the rain stops or lessens up some and then run towards that Rainbow's End and see if I get the end with the pot of gold or the other end with my grandfather's chamber pot.
Hard to let go of aDream.
But then one might say that one cannot grab hold of aDream, as its like smoke or Chasper the Friendly Ghost.
But not ChucaDreamChaser.
Maybe thats Chuca's secret, why he never get stuck in the mud for very long, because of "so little aTime" and "so many aDreams."
ChucaKeepsOnMoving to the neXt Dream.
