Personally, I always figure that name calling speaks for itself. I'm somewhat more irritated by the canonical Nadine cheesy high school debate trick, the straw man, as in

O man that is pathetic. Now you will claim the Army is forging Saddam Hussein's files.

Um. I didn't say anything like that. And going back to the original WSJ editorial thing that's the source for this "breaking news", we get this extensive documentation of what the alleged source actually is:

One striking bit of new evidence is that the name Ahmed Hikmat Shakir appears on three captured rosters of officers in Saddam Fedayeen, the elite paramilitary group run by Saddam's son Uday and entrusted with doing much of the regime's dirty work. Our government sources, who have seen translations of the documents, say Shakir is listed with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. opinionjournal.com

Let's leave aside for the moment the allegedly definitive nature of this 2 sentence leak passed on by the always "objective" WSJ editorial page. "Our government sources", in this case would seem most likely to be one Douglas Feith, given the history of this particular yarn. Who is now synonymous with "the Army" in Nadine world. I don't know, but I'd hazard a guess that Tommy Franks might be a bit distressed at that alleged synonymity, at least by Woodward's account:

The latest manifestation of this is the juicy quote by Gen. Tommy Franks in Bob Woodward's Plan of Attack, in which Franks calls Feith "the fucking stupidest guy on the face of the earth." slate.msn.com

Oops. The story is propagating, though, WorldNetDaily has picked it up too, along with the Weekly Standard to go with NewsMax. "Objective" sources all, maybe they could get Laurie Mylroie to give official approval.
