forget about valuation. as long as bond yield stays this low, WS only looks at "relative valuation" - meaning to compare with how much you get from investing in bonds. dont think for a second that is the "traditional" sense of valuation. just my 2c here.

a 10-15% correction then a 10-15% bounce - why not ?

for those who are very long semi equipment stocks and do not take any protection (selling covered calls or buying puts), their portfolios already lost at least 15-20% of value from the top.
