I've known some. They didn't strike me as particularly intelligent, just driven. Dubya doesn't even have that, as his grades at Yale indicated. Considering his grades before Yale, you wonder exactly how he got accepted...

But, as I have told tejek, Smirk isn't stupid, just intellectually lazy. Quick and easy answers is what he likes, if they turn out to be correct, so much the better. Sometimes the difference between this and stupid is hard to discern. On the otherhand, he is apparently quick in determining who has power and money and sucking up to them as quick as he can.
