Words to live by, from an American original:

"Don't think of doing it, or worry about doing it, or stand in front of a mirror, or get out a slide rule to do it. Just do it."
-- James Cagney

This was the Reflection For The Day ™ several months ago. The quote was attributed only to James Cagney. The name of the movie and the character speaking the line were not given. Does anyone here know which one it's from?

The final command has been trademarked and used as an advertising slogan by a sportswear company, Nike. Not that there's anything wrong with sampling. OTOH, their agency may have come up with the idea independently. It is a common phrase, and what kind of people would knowingly rip off Cagney? <G>
