David Broder had an interesting article in the Washington Post about Fred Thompson.

Broder talked to Thompson for 2 hours and it sounds like Thompson may be planning to "tell it like it is", in his campaign. Like the fact that the country is being buried in debt and entitlements are going to KILL us in the future.

The guy has already refused to rule out higher taxes which I think is DARN REFRESHING for a Republican candidate.

Can a guy actually get nominated in the Republican OR Democratic Party if he/she tells the TRUTH??????
