Thank you for attempting to answer my question, I can see what a struggle it was. Let me rephrase it in a way that might make it easier.

We have an election coming up and we don't know who will be elected, but at the end of their term, 4 years from now, would you like to see the number on food stamps lower than now or higher than now?
Please assume the rules for qualifying do not change.

I am really trying to understand what your thoughts about governments role is. You were quick to criticize Bush for policies that you thought would make more of the population eligible for food stamps so I thought you would be for that.

What about the recent announcement of the huge drop in median net worth. Is that really good or really bad?
