I was just going over some Nortel posts and noticed this clip from exchange2000.com dated Nov26. dealing with IP over Sonet for Carriers. clip: "At the show, Dallas-based Nortel Networks demonstrated a new interface for its carrier switches capable of directly linking Gigabit Ethernet switches to SONET multiplexers, allowing IP traffic to traverse SONET rings at OC-192 (10M-bps) speeds." Does anyone know if this is the intergration of Plaintree technology into Nortel products, and if so, is it significant? Frank
