And also, chinese is only interested in company that throw $$ at them, they have far more better technologies and just don't have $$ to implement those, esp. techology related to its own writing. As I recall at least one of the deals with the Chinese govt involved a joint venture to develop products to bring to the Chinese market. The gov't would receive royalties. I don't remember the precise percentage but 15% rings a bell. I think it was discussed in the conference call if you can get a transcript. Either that or in the original deal announcements. They are still available at www.Bloomberg.com
