Globalstar Negotiates for Iridium Clients - Brazil March 21, 2000 The Brazilian satellite mobile operator Globalstar do Brasil is negotiating with the local division of defunct satellite operator Iridium, and its Brazilian shareholder Inepar, for control of some 2,000 former Iridium clients, according to Globalstar do Brasil president Pedro Maisonnave. "We don't want Iridium's difficulties to cast doubt on the satellite communications system as a whole," Maisonnave said.
