We have a Cornered Weasel award winner today. You may have noticed the startling runup in SACM stock, which almost has tripled in the past week as daytraders piled in. God only knows why they are so dumb. The stock peaked and broke today amid indications that management was cashing out its shares. This led one daytrader to actually call the company and report on the Yahoo thread: "Just spoke with Barry ???? at investor relations. He would not tell me anything. In fact, he seemed evasive. He was trying to ascertain my level of competence by playing dumb about all of the large blocks that have passed today. He said that they would have to 'compile all of the facts' and would probably release news within a few days. "I did not feel that he came clean with me." ======================= Barry Wendt, SACM executive, wins the coveted Cornered Weasel. It's a good conversation piece when the SEC comes calling.
