Gypsy,

Thank's for very kind words. I admit to it being a favorite of mine for very personal reasons. I had taken a photo of my elderly Mother and Father walking through a wooded path that was in full Fall display. They are walking away from the camera, holding hands, and are diminutive compared to the forest around them. I wrote the poem not long after I developed the print.

I have never had an audience for this or any other poems before and I confess feeling some gratification that has some appeal.
