Baiting the bear with the NATO crap was totally irresponsible. Russia has a well justified wariness when it comes to Europeans wanting to conquer it. This is not the first rodeo.

Was that under Biden?

I heard some idiots told China that the Ukraine was offered NATO status and China told Russia.

Still, IMHO, a major blunder by Putin. And US intelligence.
