When you grab anyone by the shoulders and shake them, their first reaction is to shake you back. the next logical conclusion that your philosophy would say is that you should push back harder, and spout more scripture saying how your beliefs are the only true path, while theirs leads to eternal damnation. That is how religious wars start.
What you are describing are the actions of a religious zealot.

That is exactly what I mean when I say that your actions and philosphies do more to push people away from your words than anything I can imagine.

If you really feel the need to turn someone away from their chosen belief system, how about with kind words, reason, and mutual respect?
Your words would carry more weight in that regard.
