General Downing's now on FoxNews playing up the letter calling for more Al Qaeda in Iraq. He's telling us our war is all good, that we're winning, etc. The cynic in me tells me this alleged Abu Musab Zarqawi letter is a Bush Administration plant. Now the good general's on tv, radio stations are picking up his words and, hey, whatta ya know, more Americans think we're winning. I strongly think that were this letter real, America would not be publicizing it for the terrorists to gain strength in Iraq. Stuff like this always comes out when Bush's approval ratings slip. If anyone has the power, money or resources they should do a chart of news releases (lies, distortions, omissions and perversions of truth) that come out every time Bush's number slip.
