The price target for VISG was $10.50. I didn't stay with the trade because the market provided a gift of 20% over two days. When the market provides a gift like that, it's only gracious of us to accept it.

A more appealing strategy to some would have been to sell 1/3 or 1/2 a position, locking in the gift and staying with a winning trade in an effort to hit the price target.

In all honesty, I think that's the correct play.

I didn't play it that way because it would require more book keeping on my part to keep the public portfolio accurate and up to date.

If someone has a longer term view, the momentum bands should tell you when to enter and exit. You exit when price breaks out above the upper band and you exit when price closes below the lower band. The bands must be rising to provide accuracy to this strategy.

Since most of my trades are designed for a holding period of 2-5 days, I'll take the money and run.
