The northern and western part of Denver escaped a major snow last night. We got chilly but not a sign of dampness. However, just immediately east of downtown was a 31 car pile up on Interstate 70, near the airport, this morning. I-70 has been closed from that location all the way to the state line. Over 8 inches of fresh, blowing snow out that way and more still falling. I'm sitting in bright sunshine and dry sidewalks where I live. My furnace comes on far too often, but I don't have snow. I-70 west bound, into ski country is wide open and skiers are flocking. Neeka would love it!
