There is a very limited supply of high grade Bakken crude, and even less contractors available to drill new hydraulically fractured wells.

After that oil is gone you will need to ship the oil south from Canada and there is not enough current pipeline capacity to meet U.S. needs.

The goal of course is to re-set to electric and the greenies pulling the strings feel $150 bbl should accelerate those plans.

Unfortunately there is not enough reserves of battery metals available to meet the needs of a re-set world economy.

Exploration and development of the new mines will create the biggest carbon footprint the world has ever seen.
