Yup you would probably be part of that right-front quadrant that would get the heaviest storm surge.

Based on my Charley experience, I think if you evacuate by driving out you either go very early (tomorrow morning) or very late (five hours before it hits).

Consider one of the local evacuation shelters, the one I went to wasn't bad, chance to catch up on your reading.

The 11:00pm and 5:00am should confirm the likely path.
