I love some of these polls - when you read the fine print many seem to be saying "We polled 1,000 people, took their answers, diasgreed with them and reweighted the results to say what we expected [or wanted], and therefore here is the answer." I will go on record right now as saying that Bush will win - here is why: I do not like him or Kerry. They are both idiots in different ways. Bush has lied to the American public and presided over the biggest domestic spending increase ever. Gore wants to increase spending even more and raise some of our social security taxes and income taxes to do it while cutting the deficit. In addition, he wants to attack pharma and biotech. Taking the sum of the above, those religious and right wing zealots who support Bush really seem to love him. The people who support Kerry seem to really hate Bush and not love Kerry. In my book, it is easier to turn out lovers than haters. What am I missing? Here's to none of the above. Jon
