Ref < Intel shareholders meeting> At the shareholders meeting one of the questions dealt with the "Losses in Other", and the implications for the foray into communications . Andy Bryant explicitly stated that until a few months ago the Networking Division and the Mobile Communication division were proftable. The Losses were due to Internet Services, goodwill and other corporate expenses (bonuses) being lumped into "Other". I hope that as promised, Intel starts breaking out the communication group P & L and provides historical data for communications. I felt reassured by Craig's statement that Intel would exit the communication market segments in which it could not be No.1 or No.2. [a la Jack Welch at GE ]. All in all the stockholders meeting was comforting and relieved some of the uncertainty raised by the present environment.
