Thanks for the post. It seems I can't keep track of what day it is. Now I hear the results reported by CNBC, too.

I particularly liked the last part about the assembly.

Inside the hall, the 1,000 assembly members -- all of whom have either been chosen directly or approved by Suharto -- face a new constraint should they feel the urge to take a rhetorical potshot at the president: Microphones have been removed from the assembly desks this year.
