not good enough then we are talking tax increases for the lower income people. with itemized deductions, exemptions we can get to about $40,000 no tax. so now you going to do me a favor and put in a flat tax and i pay on every thing i make over $15,000. forget it.

our tax now 10% first 14,000 and 15% first 56,800 joint return. now you got deductions and expemptions from those amounts. wonder what flat tax amount would be? 20% so we increase tax on by about 5% on income over 15,000.
