Dear Windsock:

That was not true when Systech sold the original Kryotech systems. AMD sent the OEM CPUs with the right clock multiplier. It is wise for them to continue the same policy with the new version now that the CPU is unlocked. Since it is well known that the Athlon is heat limited, AMD is warranting them to go 1.8GHz @ -40C. It is up to you to prove that AMD ended this relationship with Kryotech and Systech. They at least, maintain good customer relations, while Intel is known to adopt a take it my way or else attitude. Besides, to operate at 1.8GHz at a 266MHz FSB, you need a multiplier of 13.5. Standard Tbirds only have 13 (1.733G) or 14 (1.866G) as multipliers around the needed one. Thus, AMD is making CPUs that can now have a 13.5 as a multiplier for this OEM.
