<A classical contrarian would look at this situation and rub his hands in glee. Sentiment is now at its absolute lowest, with long time investors bailing out>
We'll see if "sentiment is now at its absolute lowest". Every 1/8 it bleeds means sentiment is getting lower.
<....while the company continues to be quite profitable but without "vision".>
"Without vision" is what is leading to flat to declining financials. This is in addition to a continued inability to communicate with WS which has always resulted in this stock being undervalued.
<Other companies with real losses are seen as better investments e.g. the drive companies, web startups, chipmakers, etc...>
I agree that there is no excuse for the drive companies to be valued higher. Web startups, chip makers....it depends. Some of these companies are growing nicely and do have vision.
<This seems like the best time in a long time to get into CREAF.>
This is a very nice way of saying that the stock has been a miserable performer and is now as low as it has been "in a long time".
I do agree that at this level the stock has more upside potential, but I still think the company has some real problems including growth, vision, image, and their isolationist approach to this industry. I have concluded that under Sim's leadership this stock is going to be a long term dog. If you want to see what CREAF's chart will look like in 15 years, look at the last 15 year chart of AMD.

Good trading stocks, lousy long term investments. Unbelievably, both companies are about where they were 6 months after they went public....and this is after the greatest tech bull run in history (the last few years).
