What does CREAF own that would convince anyone to buy them out? Algorithms? VSLI obviously has significant technological expertise in the chip design business. That's why Phillips wants it. Does CREAF? Certainly no evidence of it. Phillips should be the most fitting suitor for CREAF. Where is their offer? Where is any offer?

And what else is going to make this stock go up? Buy back and dividend? Already proved to be a miserable failure. Speakers? Even MSFT is in that business. Graphics? A viciously over competitive business already. They've blown their core sound business and it's a dying business to boot. Have you seen the hugh rebates they are giving now for these things? And that's what this company has always been known as. What are they now? What do they do? Even Sim doesn't know. Their continued profitability is highly questionable now. The trend is strongly negative.

Holders of this stock are having to resort to miracles for relief, either a buyout or a sudden revelation in Sim to seek a buyer. He has no interest in either. He has a stranglehold over the company and all other shareholders are at his mercy. That is a fate worse than death. For their sake only, I hope the miracle occurs. But don't hold your breath.
