Mary, I see no reason why AMD can't succeed in the low-end WS or server market. In fact, I am kind of surprised they have not made significant inroads in the low-end already. Two things, although they are very closely related: 1. The big OEMs like to do one-stop shopping, i.e., get all their server CPU chips at one vendor, IF THEY CAN. In this case, they can. AMD's server chip offering brings nothing significant to the party. In fact, not having a low power version is a definite negative. 2. The OEMs are swamped just with development around all the Intel chips. Especially in this crummy tech environment with hiring freezes and layoffs, there are no cycles left to spend any serious time looking at anything new. Tony
