POTUS has done well his low altitude initial flyby and now his boots on the ground tour. I live in So Fla, hurricane Andrew was initially choatic due to the lack of prepositioning of materiel and personnel. Jeb Bush handled last years hurricanes well by prepositioning rescue stuff as the storms approached. Prolonged electrial outages of weeks in barely affected area was the big suprise. We also have a proactive water management district which lowers canal and lake okachobee levels in advance. In poor areas buses are quick to mobilized the poor and ill. The Keys always evacuates well in advance of approaching 'canes. The NO problem seems to be a local attitude of nihilism and blame someone else when shyt happens.
