I quote a passage from Bloomberg news about a very famous analyst Tom Kurlak (was an analyst of Merrill Lynch) on Feb 12, 1999. we will see how the analyst moves the stock price.

"Investors (money managers, mutual fund...) still listened to him, though, because Merrill's 16,000 brokers can promote their analysts' research to clients, making a stock rise or fall."

The question here: Who Really Moves the Stock Market? If you read the Fortune Magazine (1997 issues), you will find out the answer.
