Heinz, Executive Intelligence Review is a publication controlled by Lyndon LaRouche. LaRouche has been a figure in fringe American politics for 25 years or so. I suppose that the only way to characterize his politics would be to call them Fascist. On the one hand, he appeals to populist impulses (e.g. attacking the control of the financial system by "international" bankers), yet on the other, he advocates a strong central government based on a Platonic model, wherein the rulers are "philosopher-kings". These sorts of political sentiments have never been able to take root easily in American soil, thankfully.

IMO, if he were not such a fringe element, he would be very dangerous. His publications generally are geared toward furthering his rather paranoid agenda. But, to be fair, this doesn't mean that they don't convey accurate information now and then -g-.
