Tony, the same is true for Xeon systems.

This thing runs rings around Xeon, costs less, and you can still get an SMP system in a 1U form factor.

And, unlike Itanium/McKinley, you don't need to replace every piece of software you ever bought, wrote, or contracted to have written to get that performance increase.
