PI,
Sorry it was Sammy not Larry that you're refering to. Re: Insiders selling, there could be many reasons for an insider to sell and only one to buy. To name the few co.'s that come to my mind , MSFT SBUX YHOO PIXR AAPL CY, all had insiders selling with the first five (don't know much about the last) in very large qun.'s. But look what happened; they all went up. Is it because of the bull market? (In Apple's case-seeling by steve jobs. Everything but one share (? please confirm)- two weeks before bill gate's anno.) I'm not as experianced so I'll better wait for a beer market. Petco(pet supply-2/3 of holiding-60K shares [?])and VJET were the few that went down after insiders selling. There was another 1.5M sale by a VJET insider at $5.68 (?)on 7/29/97 (?) so we'll see what happeneds this time. The co.'s that went up after ins. buying were ODP, SNTKY and LOJN (in LoJack's, case buying back shares) My memory may go against me so please check with magazines pr's etc. to confirm the co.'s, insider's name(s), figures and dates.
Have a nice evening,
Marty

PS
144 doesn't mean (but may-I don't think so in Oilex's case. There are too many things going on.)insiders are selling. It is restricted shares that are being dumped into the market. Prob. from preior acq.'s (?)
