I am new to this thread but not first time bought and held MRVC. Someone compared MRVC to CIEN, which I am also interested in. There are 17 analysts following CIEN but only 3 after MRVC, according to Yahoo's Research section. Market cap for CIEN is $2.73B but $355M for MRVC. CIEN is a mid-cap stock whereas MRVC is a small one. Like most of people on this thread I am extremely bullish on MRVC. I was impressed by price movement from 40 to 55 overnight and then hitting 75 a few weeks later; price was before 2 splits back a few years ago. 2 weeks ago I bought MRVC at $10 that was much lower than what I sold in 1996. MRVC needs time to become a mid-cap if it is not acquired by a big one. One thing worries me a bit is that opinion on this thread is one-sided; I only saw 2 posts of other opinions.
