As soon as they are weaned, you should take them away from Momma Cat before she teaches them a bunch of unsavory habits.

Too late. As I type, the one that is the most like her is out there "playing with" a big ole fat dead chipmunk. NOT "consuming"; just playing.

They were 7 weeks Saturday; so it's time. IF we can catch the mom; we'd like to take her and have her fixed and just keep her. Not sure if the vet would spay an unsociable cat; but I can hope. It would be the best of both worlds. She kills the unwanted critters and doesn't want to be touched. She'd make an excellent barn kitty.
