Her baby was ok in the end. She has struggled, but the father of their daughter has stuck with her. She is not suffering long term consequences. Having a father who could not understand why turning off the circuit breaker for the bathroom did not stop the toilet from overflowing might be a more serious impediment than the pregnancy medical issues of her mother.
