Exactly Lenis that is why I do not believe for a second that Freeport is behind this.

Does Freeport have control or connections over our Canadian media like another giant mining company possibly does?

If Freeport was behind this how in the world would they be able to control some of the Canadian press?

I think people should seriously start looking at the owners and directors of some of the Canadian media who are, and who have been planting rumours and falsehoods about Bre-X IMHO for almost a year now.

A good example is the recent story in the Financial Post. The de Guzman family, a Bre-X co-worker and the Indonesian Police have all confirmed that it was Mike de Guzman's body. So why is the Financial Post continuing to spread IMHO false rumours.

Does the Financial Post have the same owners as the Northern Miner?

Therein may lie some of the answers IMHO.
