Let me add......the kind of war Bashar is running is pretty disgusting. For an example, his jets go on random bombing missions. They drop their bombs and then wait 20 min. Then they come back to bomb the people who have gathered to rescue people trapped in the bombed bldgs. He is doing this crap to his own people; not an invading force. Its disgusting.

but apparently it wasn't disgusting enough as 100,000 were blown up by bombs

there's no way the U.S. can eliminate Syria's chemical weapons with cruise missile attacks

so, What is the POINT?

if we lobbed a few cruise bombs and Assad said "Ok I won't gas any more people, I'll just go back to blowing them to bits with socially accepted weapons of mass destruction"... is that the point?

also, as bad as Assad is... if he was ousted, who would be left to fill the void?... it's a mess... and we are not supposed to be doing it for regime change... so what is the point?
