a reactionary liberal? thats a paradox if I ever heard one ;)

And save your domestic political branding.. I'm a Canadian commenting on the matter.. where liberal and conservative are slightly different in meaning... . but by all means.... you can revert to your "if they are foreign and disagree with us, even if they are from a democracy and an ally.. they must be commies" mantra... if you Republicans/conservatives hold true to form. that automatically makes me a pinko/socialist from a pinko socialist neighbour for disagreeing with Republican philosophy.. never mind that the rest of Western Europe and most of Canada thinks what Bush proposes is utter environmental insanity.

And if you've read the thread at all: a) no one is stopping any conservative viewpoints from participating, and b) there are plenty of the republican right on here to argue with anything they view as heresy to the Dubya revolution,.

BY all means.. defend this plan if you want.. but at least try to address the criticisms of it rather then dismissing it as liberal garbage.. from what I've read.. some Republicans have some trouble with it - particularly the drilling in the ANWR and other national parks.
