Hello, Jaime: The mdi/pdi is based on Wilder's directional index The mdi is the negative directional index The pdi is the positive directional index I look for the pdi to go under 20, which means they are oversold. Personally, I don't care if AAPL is selling apple (the fruit), MacIntoish (the PC), or Big Mac (the hamburger). I think the market knows what we don't. I don't know why the price is going to go up, may be a take over, may be people like their restructuring, who cares the reason. The main objective of this game is to know when it is going to move up.
