Carolyn, Laz should have joined us by now. He may be in DSL purgatory even as we speak.

I don't know if satellite is slower. I know that most transcription companies do not allow its use, allowing only cable and DSL. Many do not even allow dialup anymore, as it is too slow for the bloated programs we use. - Holly
